Proper is a shopping tool. It is not a medical device and it is not a health record.

These never leave your phone:

• Camera frames used to decode the barcode
• Your preferences, including “I’m eating small”
• Your recents

The barcode number only, so we can return a verdict. There is no account and nothing links a scan to you.

Apple processes Proper+ purchases. We see whether an entitlement is active. We never see your card details.

No name, no email address (unless you write to support), no precise location, no contacts, no health records, and no advertising identifiers. No tracking. We do not sell data.

None. This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties — fonts and images are served from our own domain. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
